Last Friday I was in Lexington celebrating Josh’s birthday so I missed out on sharing some of my favorites with you. Instead I’m going to share what’s in my diaper bag and all of the fun goodies that I carry around on my back every day.
First off I love my diaper bag. After a few months with my first diaper bag love, the Chelsea Downtown Diaper Bag
, I switched to this Carter’s backpack and will never go back. My shoulder was starting to feel the weight of the over the shoulder bag, and it didn’t allow me as much freedom to move around and have my hands free to run after a toddler. Now I am a backpack-only diaper bag kind of mom.
Iphone 6+ (not pictured because it is taking the picture) I needed a new phone and I was between the 6 and the 6+. The larger screen and better camera was enough to convince me to upgrade to the 6+. The larger size feels odd at first, but you get used to it and the benefits the phone offers is worth the extra money.
Diapers/Wipes – I’m a Pampers mom. Cruisers and Sensitive wipes is what you will find in my bag.
Changing pad – Most bags come with changing pads. I bought a larger pad instead of using the one it came with. This pad is extremely large so when you end up in a dirty bathroom with a less than stellar changing area, this pad will cover more so your baby won’t have to touch any of it. Also as your baby grows they still fit on the pad.
Munchkin Arm and Hammer Diaper Bag Dispenser – When you are out and you have a smelly diaper with no good place to dispose of it these bags come in handy.
Hand Sanitizer – Toddlers are full of germs. After those dirty diapers this helps keep those germs at bay.
Hand Lotion – After you use all the sanitizer your hands will be dry and begging for the lotion.
Camelbak Eddy Bottle (1-Liter) – I use a 1 L camelbak and never leave home without it. I’m always looking for ways to drink more water, and the bigger the waterbottle the more I seem to drink.
Notepad and Pen – You never know when a great idea is going to hit you and with the chaos of my mommy brain I need to write those ideas down ASAP!
Snacks – If i get stuck running errands during a meal time … you better hope I didn’t forget a snack in my bag. Lottie will surely let you know.
Hair Bows – I always carry an extra hair bow with me. You can never have too many of these 🙂
I’ve shown you mine, now you show me yours. What’s in your bag?
