I feel I have successfully reached the ‘fat or pregnant stage of pregnancy’. If you saw me out in a tight shirt you would be nervous to ask me when I’m due, mainly bc you wouldn’t be 100% sure I was pregnant. For those of you that have gone through this… how long does this stage last?! 🙂
My hormones are still kickin’ in but not as much as last week, or I learned to control them a bit more.
It was Christmas week which didn’t help the fat part of this stage due to the massive amounts of christmas treats, chocolate and all things sweet circling me. It’s ironic I don’t even crave sweets. Sweets actually don’t taste that great to me right now… but none the less I didn’t let my Christmas spirit down… I indulged the entire week (err… month…). so today, Dec 26th I’m back to my normal eating schedule and hopefully getting the sweets out of the house!
Christmas was fabulous! We spent a few days with all of our family and were so grateful to have everyone around this year! Even more exciting is the thought that Baby E will be joining us next year and will be 6 months old which is a cute age 🙂
We had another appointment with the doc this week! After a month of not hearing or feeling baby E I couldn’t wait to hear the heartbeat and be reassured that all is well inside! Thankfully the appointment was fast. The doctor put the doppler on my belly and within seconds there was the sound of baby E’s heart beating at an amazing 145 beats per second. It is one of the best sound I have ever heard!
Hopefully with the holidays over, all of the cookies and junk will get out of the house and I can get back to my normal healthy eating routine. Im still not a huge fan of salads but I am force feeding myself veggies at lunch because baby needs their nutrients!
Size of Baby E: Onion
Best moment of the week: Having a relaxing Christmas with family!
Obsessions/Cravings? Everything around the holidays are sweet and all I want is salty – so I’m eating whatever I can find that doesn’t involve sugar!
What I’m most looking forward to this week: The New Year! 2014 is going to be a great one!
What I miss the most: Sleeping through the night. I have a feeling this will only get worse. I go to sleep early but am waking up often!!
Symptoms: I’m starting to get hungrier which is hopefully a good sign baby is growing big 🙂 Acne is still taking over my face which is the worst, but other than that nothing new to report!
