It’s been a busy past two weeks as you can see from the lack of post on the blog! Fall is in full swing and we are outside as much as possible before the weather drops. I’ll fill you in soon on all of the happenings around the Eaton house but until then enjoy some of my favorites!
Pedicures
My guilty pleasure. Everything about this is my favorite. Happy feet, Happy mom.
Wedding Season
Our wedding season is officially over with our last wedding this past weekend. It was an all day bash starting with an early wedding and brunch and ending with a BBQ reception. Great day catching up with friends and dressing up with my hubby, pretending to be adults for the day.
Dedicating our baby girl
Finally at 16 months we dedicated Lottie at our church. We’re blessed to be surrounded by friends and family and a community that love our baby girl and together we have no doubt this little girl will grow up in search of the truth and knowing his love.
Pumpkin Muffins
I am not a big pumpkin fan. When Fall hits everyone goes pumpkin crazy and I usually take a backseat to the party. At a recent Moms group a friend brought these delicious chocolate chip pumpkin muffins and yummmy! I’m still not a pumpkin convert, but I’m warming up to the idea.
Podcast Love: Serial
I’m a This American Life fan already, so when they started Serial, a spin-off podcast, I was instantly hooked. They take one story, a true story, lay out the facts and do some digging on the story and give their opinion at the end of the season. It’s addicting.
Season 1: “It’s Baltimore, 1999. Hae Min Lee, a popular high-school senior, disappears after school one day. Six weeks later detectives arrest her classmate and ex-boyfriend, Adnan Syed, for her murder. He says he’s innocent – though he can’t exactly remember what he was doing on that January afternoon. But someone can. A classmate at Woodlawn High School says she knows where Adnan was. The trouble is, she’s nowhere to be found.”
Happy weekend and see yo next week!
